A Tale Untold
We took our values from a fire of angels and the Church of England
Turning another chapter to the final page
Those memories have come of age
This is life now, there is no rehearsal and we need to face it
Even the lives of the living are coming undone
As we wait for the setting sun
The evanescent charm has had its time
A legacy and a tale untold.
I’m killing time because there’s no religion and I need a purpose
Another great tragedy with blood on the page
The memories have not been saved
This is life now, there is no rehearsal and we need each other
It’s true only desperation clings to power
With the bitterness of milk turned sour
The evanescent charm draws to a close
A legacy and a tale untold.
Another great tragedy with blood on the page
Those memories have not been saved
The evanescent charm has had its time
I’m killing time because there’s no religion and I need a purpose
Turning another chapter to the final stage
This is life now, there is no rehearsal and we need to face it.
Another great tragedy with blood on the page, those memories have not been saved.
This is life now there is no rehearsal and we need each other.
Now the lives of the children are coming undone
As we wait for the setting sun
The evanescent charm draws to a close
The legacy of a tale untold.
